About TechKnowledge
Point
TechKnowledge Point (“TKP”) is the world’s first
research and referral exchange dedicated to bringing over 30 years
of applied new venture research and expertise to entrepreneurs and
small business owners. The whole point of great faculty-research
about new venture development should be to get the results into
the hands of the entrepreneurs who can use it most. Founded in 2001
by David Newton, TKP is bridging the gap between academic research
and real world problem solving for emerging ventures. The TKP vision
is to become the premiere 24/7 research and referral online exchange
linking the 30 year track record of academic research and contemporary
expertise directly to the entrepreneurs and emerging ventures who
can use it and benefit from it the most. TechKnowledge Point’s
member exchange now boasts over 2,500 pre-screened and personalized
faculty and program profiles, all completely searchable, and all
with accurate contact information.
How does it work?
Individual profiles for faculty researchers and entrepreneurship
programs are entered into a powerful Oracle database at www.Techknowledgepoint.com.
Each profile is custom-tailored by the researcher of program director
to explain, in simple language, the areas of research expertise
the individual or program can provide to entrepreneurs and business
managers. Program directors also profile their school’s entrepreneurship
program for use in EntrePoint’s rankings in entrepreneurship.
(Co-sponsored by Entrepreneur magazine) Programs and faculty researcher
profiles are used for both the members exchange at TechKnowledge
Point, and EntrePoint’s annual rankings. |
